We said good-bye to Santa Cruz and her chocolates and drove south toward Moss Landing for another non-scheduled stop to look at wildlife. We found a harbor occupied by sea otters, sea lions and harbor seals. I took about 1,000 photos of the cute little Southern Sea Otters. I exaggerate but you get the picture.
Continuing on down the State, we stopped in San Miguel to check the progress of the Mission. We were told it will have a grand re-opening soon and that we had just missed HUELL HOWSER by a couple of hours, out on one of his scouting expeditions. HUELL HOWSER!!!! I couldn't believe it. We were STUNNED by the progress in just one year. The exterior looks fantastic. Amazing.
