The highlight of Pismo Beach was meeting up with Al and Margie whom we met on our Elderhostel at Ventura last August. They drove up from Upland to meet us for a bowl of “world-famous” clam chowder at Splash Cafe. I can’t say it was the best clam chowder I’ve ever had but it was certainly wonderful to see Al and Margie again. Hope it was the first of many meetings.
So I was able to photograph some "painted” clams on the side of their building to add to my clam collection. Including clams on bikes.
